Craig Garriott

Craig Garriott, with his wife Maria, was church planter (1980) and continued as senior pastor of Faith Christian Fellowship (2018), a multi-ethnic, socio-economically diverse church in Baltimore city. Craig holds a BS in Architecture and Urban Studies from Virginia Tech, MDIV Covenant Theological Seminary, and a DMIN in Urban Missions, Westminster Theological Seminary, his project study was Growing Reconciled Communities. Craig and his wife Maria, (author of A Thousand Resurrections) have five children and five grandchildren. Craig is Pastor Emeritus of FCF as he serves of Executive Director of BALM. Craig serves as Dean of Church Planting and Renewal at Metro Baltimore Seminary. C.V. →

Stan Long

After earning a BA in history from Frostburg State University, Pastor Stan served university students in Maryland through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Black Campus Ministry for 11 years. He earned an M. Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, then pastored Forest Park Reformed Presbyterian Church, an African American PCA congregation in West Baltimore, for nine years. Stan was Associate Pastor of Faith Christian Fellowship from 2000–2019. He also served as the Dean of LAMP (Leadership and Ministry Preparation) Seminary in Baltimore from 2011- 2017. He is Associate Executive Director of BALM and Dean of Urban Ministry at Metro Baltimore Seminary. Stan and Terri have been married since 1981 and have five children and four grandchildren. Maria Garriott

After 38 years as an urban ministry spouse and 20 years as a curriculum writer for the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, Maria Garriott joined her husband Craig in starting BALM. Maria also serves as an Intercultural Development Consultant and network leader and coach for Parakaleo, a ministry to church planting spouses. She is the author of Stronger Together: A Gospel Lens on Unity, and A Thousand Resurrections, a memoir of urban church planting. Maria and Craig have five adult children and seven grandchildren. She is BALM’s Director of Communications and Intercultural Development.

 
 

Rebecca vega

After earning her bachelor’s degree in education from Towson University and her masters degree in TESOL from Notre Dame of Maryland University, Rebecca taught for seven years in the Baltimore county and city. Her background in education, global missions, multicultural relationships, urban ministry, and her roots in Baltimore have led her to serve with BALM. With her husband, Steven, Rebecca co-leads a Discovery Bible Study through BUCN (Baltimore Unbound Church Network) with neighbors in their home outside of Baltimore. Rebecca and Steven have been married since 2017 and have a multicultural, blended family of 5 children, spanning from ages 4 to 12 years. She is BALM’s Administrative Coordinator.
