I left every class wanting more ... there was a vividness that was new despite having followed Christ for over two decades. [MBS] changed the way I relate to people at work, and the way I prepare for Sunday School. I have more confidence in the infallible Word breathing Christ into my heart.

Accessible, Accredited, Affordable Theological Education

”BALM provides vital leaders for MBS who help make us a great option for those looking for accessible, affordable, and accredited seminary training in the Baltimore region.”

Rev. Dan Passerelli, President of Metro Baltimore Seminary

MBS includes tracks in Pastoral Ministry, Church Planting & Renewal, Urban Ministry, Biblical Counseling, and Church Ministry. All programs also include mentoring and practical ministry/internship opportunities.

MBS provides socially-distant in-person classroom experiences and distance education at its two sites.

I would recommend MBS to anyone who is looking to grow their relationship with the Lord or develop their ministry skills.
— Urban Ministry Graduate Juliet Wall
In the readings, discussions, and site visits in the Urban Ministry Cohort during my M.Div. studies, we were exposed to different racial, ethnic, and socio-economic groups among the various denominations. The commonality among all of these different groups is the uncompromising Word of God - the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Stan Long and Dr. Craig Garriott ensure that students’ mentoring experiences and practicum hours align with the goals and objectives of the cohort program.
