BALM Micro-Church Training

Micro-Church Planting

We are almost halfway through training our MBS students and spouses in the Missionary Pathway. The goal of this micro-church movement, which we are calling the BALM Underground, is to equip ordinary people to become everyday missionaries. Pray that Jesus would equip them to reach and disciple those Jesus is calling to Himself in their various neighborhoods and networks, and that micro-churches would emerge.

Pastor Derek Pulliam, pictured below, is one of those enrolled in the Micro-church Training. Pastor Pulliam is enrolled in BALM's Church Planting & Renewal track at Metro Baltimore Seminary. He has pastored Believer's Chapel in Baltimore for 21 years, and is finding encouragement, guidance, and solid teaching at MBS.

He plans to use Missionary Pathway lessons on Discovery Bible Studies and extraordinary prayer and fasting as part of his church relaunch strategy. Pastor Pulliam and his wife U’Vonda have three children. To see a short video testimony about his experience with BALM and MBS, click here
