BALM Reaching the Nations

Baltimore and Beyond—to Other Nations

BALM’s mission is to build disciplemaking leaders for new and renewed churches for Baltimore and beyond. We never expected “beyond” would extend to outside the U.S.—yet that is what God has done! Two of our Metro Baltimore Seminary Master’s of Divinity graduates are serving God in El Salvador (Jon and Danielle Snyder, Mission to El Salvador) and current M.Div student Clifford Moore is serving God in Japan. M.Div. student Christi Sabb’s YouTube ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) channel reaches nearly 40,000 followers, many of whom are unbelievers from various nations. Student Krishna Kandel serves Nepalese immigrants in greater Baltimore, and travels back to Nepal periodically to nurture the church he founded there. In addition, this summer a delegation of 20 leaders from Korea are visiting to learn about BALM’s micro-church ministry and Metro Baltimore Seminary’s unique training model.

The nations have come here, presenting new opportunities for evangelism and discipleship in our neighborhoods and workplaces. Many of us hear multiple languages at our local grocery stores as immigrants have settled in the diverse Baltimore-Washington region. May God continue to use His people to spread His Kingdom.
